He was predeceased by: his parents, Novella Smith Parrish and Clifton Parrish, Sr.; and his sister Katherine Estelle Lee. He is survived by: his wife Nannie Ruth Parrish; his sons, Robert (Gloria) of Kinston and Kevin (Becky) of Kinston; his grandchildren, Amy M. Vetter (Brian) of Summerville, SC, Bobby Parrish (Susan) of Four Oaks, NC and Austin Parrish (Katherine) of Greensboro, NC; his great grandchildren, Jordan McLawhorn, Jackson Parrish, Maegan Parrish, Lana Parrish, Charlotte Parrish and Audrey Grace Parrish; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Chase McLawhorn (Cassi), Megan Jones and Wyatt McLawhorn; and his brother-in-law Alton Lee of Goldsboro, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
