He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Aycock Daniels and Geneva Briley Daniels; and his siblings, Haywood Daniels, John Daniels, Franklin Daniels, Horace Daniels, Clifton Daniels, Charles "Bo" Daniels, Curtis Daniels, Helen Daniels, Hazel D. Hoffman, Hilda D. Johnson, Lucy D. Thompson and Mayme D. Hardee.
He is survived by: his wife Dannie Susan Daniels; his son Dan Eugene Daniels (Kim); his grandchildren, Morgan Daniels Kisiah (Kyle) and Katelyn Miller Herring (Cody); his great grandchildren, Ryleigh James Kisiah, Mallory Blake Kisiah and Gibson Ray Herring; and his brother Bobby Daniels.
