It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Smith of Kinston, North Carolina, who passed away on August 13, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Smith and Ramona Waller Smith. He is survived by: his wife Janet Vinson Smith; his children, Brian Lee Smith (Brittany) of Kinston and Holly Michelle Smith of Garner; his grandchildren, Maddox Lee, Evan Pierce and Presley Eve Smith; his great-nephew Carter Drake Becton; his siblings, Debra Smith Becton (Darrel) of Kinston and Rex K. Smith (Vicky) of New Bern; his aunt Brenda Waller Kelly of Goldsboro; and his brother-in-law C. Russell Vinson (Brenda) of LaGrange. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
