It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie Shackleford Sr. (Kinston, North Carolina), who passed away on June 7, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his children, Margaret Dixon (Calvin), Julia Moore (Thyrone), Edna Brown (Robert), Eddie L. Shackleford Jr. and Brian Douglas Shackleford; his grandchildren, Shondal Mewborn (Kenneth), Valdus Lockhart, Eddie L. Shackleford III, Lisa Byrd, James Humphrey, Janiyah Moore, Jakayla Moore and Deokoaen Nick Moore; and his great grandchildren, Demetris Jones and Emiree Shackleford. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
