She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ralph and Bertha Addie Beasley Taylor; her husband Rufus H. "Bill" Gower; and her brother Ralph Taylor, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Joan Harrell, Sue Heath (Gene) and Donna Barwick (Jeff); her sister Jean Elizabeth Roberson; and her stepsisters, Reba Franks, Ella Phillips and Jackie Davis. She is also survived by four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild.
