He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper George Boyette (Jack) and Angie Lanie Moody; his stepfather Robert White; his brother Charlie Eugene Boyette; his daughter Donna Boyette; and his granddaughter Donna Marie Stallings.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Boyette; his children, Debbie (Gary Padgett) of Jacksonville, Libby (Linn Ipock) of Seven Springs and Edward Earl Jr. (Dee Boyette) of Kinston; and his siblings, George Boyette (Christine) and Marie (Robert Adams) of Kinston. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
