He was predeceased by: his parents, James Rufus Minton and Hazel Harper Minton; his brother Richard Minton; and his son-in-law Eric Jarman. He is survived by: his wife Marolyn Lewis Minton; his children, Holly Minton Jarman of McLeansville and Eddie Minton (Mary) of LaGrange; his grandchildren, Hunter Minton, Aspen Minton, David Rice, Alexandria Rice, Hannah Jarman and Caroline Jarman; and his siblings, Jo Ann Rouse, Linda Rich, Mary Taylor, Michael Gene Minton and James Rufus Minton, Jr..
