He was predeceased by: his parents, Elisha Dortch and Rosa Whaley Robinson; his siblings, Mosely "Mose" Robinson and Annie Lue Robinson; his aunt William Whaley; his uncle Annie Whaley; and also Leroy Whaley.
He is survived by: his wife Tessie Mae Howard Robinson; and his children, Donald Glenn Robinson (Kay), Darnell Robinson Jones (Jack) and Michael Dean Robinson (Vickie). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
