She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodley Taylor and Bessie Mae Heath Taylor; and her siblings, Emma Cannon, Elwood Taylor, Morris Taylor, Jonas Earl "Bud" Taylor, Billy Ray Taylor, Clyde Taylor and James Taylor.
She is survived by: her husband Wesley Burkette; her children, Kim Harper (Tommy), Janet Wade (David), Renee Shingleton and Wesley Burkette, Jr. (Sheila); her grandchildren, Jeannette Jarman, Amy Willis, Katie Harper, Donna Noble (Jason), Chad Shingleton (Michelle) and Jennifer Anderson (Eric); her great grandchildren, Sophie Willis, Clara Mae Noble, Emily Noble, Carson Shingleton and Gunner Anderson; her sister Celia Cole; and also, Melvin and Joyce Brantley. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and friends.
