It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ella Wynn Matthews (Kinston, North Carolina), who passed away on May 17, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Lanier Earl Matthews; her parents, Joe Wynn and Effie Wynn; and her brothers, George, Louis, Ben and Billy Wynn.
She is survived by: her daughters, Priscilla Prevette (Richard) of Clayton and Kathy Edwards (Mac) of Clayton; her grandchildren, Courtney Cabe (Scott) of Pittsboro, NC, Brandon Prevette of Memphis, TN, Britni Grimes, Brian of Raleigh, NC, Nicole Zimmerman (Paul) of Carrboro, NC and Ashley Natad (Mario) of Palo Alto, CA; her great grandchildren, Brayden Cabe, Jackson Prevette, Emma, Chloe Zimmerman and Lia Natad; her brother Joseph D. Wynn of Everetts; and her great-nephew Noah Wynn. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
