She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Howard and Bertie Howard; her husband Rogers Worth Hemby; her siblings, Horace (Loretta), Harold (Evelyn), Haywood (Dorothy), Houston (Mary Ella), Lenny (Eleanor), Hallet (June), Henry Clay, Verna, Verdie (Ed), Versie (Ed) and Jeannette (Winford); and her daughter-in-law Lorraine Stroud.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Stroud of Winston-Salem, NC and Cheryl Howell (Larry) of Walkertown, NC; her grandchildren, Jennifer Lowe (Kevin) of Kernersville, NC, Raegen Autry (Bryan) of Kernersville, NC, Mindy Fulton (Tayler) of Walkertown, NC, Justin Howell of Indian Trail, NC and Jonathan Goard of Winston-Salem, NC; and her great grandchildren, Matthew, Davis Lowe of Kernersville, NC, Jaxson and Conner Fulton of Walkertown, NC.
