She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jackson and Harriet Mason Heard; her husband Jimmy Holland Moore; her brother James Edward Heard; and her sister-in-law Brenda Heard.
She is survived by: her children, Caroline Moore Blackburn of New Bern, Suzanne Holland Moore of Beaufort and William Moore of Cherry Hospital, Goldsboro; and her grandchildren, James Bracey Blackburn, Elizabeth Mason Blackburn, John Moore Blackburn, Anna Mason Moore and Blake Holland Moore.
