He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Wilton Whaley and Alma Keeton Whaley; his daughter Stephanie Whaley; and his grandson Allen Whaley. He is survived by: his son Michael Allen Whaley of Kinston; his grandchildren, Micah Allen Whaley and Michael Allen Whaley, Jr.; and his siblings, Wanda W. Parker (Dicky) of Snow Hill and Gary Whaley (June) of La Grange.
It is asked that social distancing be practiced, and masks worn.
