It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Kenneth Cheek Sr. (Kinston, North Carolina), born in Danville, Virginia, who passed away on June 13, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his siblings, Bobby Cheek of Aberdeen, Billy Cheek of Danville, VA and Patsy Cheek Johnson of Havre; his wife Aporn Anantao (Kate) of Albertson, NC; his son James Kenneth Cheek, Jr. (Ken); his daughter-in-law Debbie of Raleigh, NC; his son Christopher Shields Cheek (Chris); his daughter-in-law Susan of Timonium, Maryland; and his grandchildren, Benjamin, Alexander and Louisa. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
