With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Claire Famuliner Tolar of Kinston, North Carolina, born in Highland Park, Michigan, who passed away on March 20, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Famuliner and Frances Wallace Famuliner; and her brother Jonathan. She is survived by: her husband Bob Tolar; her children, Cari Hood Wade, Jennie Elizabeth Tolar, Jamison Edward Tolar of Kinston, NC, Joshua Matthew Tolar of Kinston, NC, Gregory Scott Hood (Lori) of Raleigh, NC, Stephen Francis Hood (Jillian) of Youngsville, NC and Joel Scott Tolar of Canton, NC; and her sisters, Laura Famuliner of Apex, NC and Susan Chadwell (Rex) of Orcas Island, WA. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
