He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Lorah Potter; his parents, George Potter and Bessie Burkett Potter; his sister Blanche Taylor; and his great grandchild Liliana Grace.
He is survived by: his daughter Terri Cox (Keith); his grandchildren, Mandi Cox, Brandon Cox (Harley) and Cameron Cox (Hayley); his great grandchildren, Natalie, Elizabeth, John Michael and Julianna; and his siblings, Ed Potter (Diana), John Potter and Shelby Scott (Lanny).
