He was predeceased by: his parents, John Julian Aldridge, Sr. and Frances Wilkins Aldridge; his daughter Beth Aldridge Oliver; and his brothers, Earl Aldridge, L. D. Aldridge and Allen Aldridge.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene F. Aldridge; his son John Julian Aldridge III (Jenny) of Garner; his grandchildren, Robert Oliver of Greenville, Melissa Steele (Scott) of Buford, GA and John J. Aldridge IV (Bethany) of Asheville; and his great grandchild Abigail Beth Steele.
