John Garland Purvis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 5, 2020, at the age of 71, John Garland Purvis (Kinston, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Purvis and Novie Elizabeth Dixon Purvis; and his brother Ronnie Purvis. He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Seymour Purvis; his children, Jennifer Nichols, Cindy Reeves (Phillip), Anne Purvis, Clint Purvis, Jessica Rosenbaum (Chris) and John Daniel Purvis; his grandchildren, Shane Nichols, Brittany Hill, Ethan Gaskins, Madison Rosenbaum and Mason Rosenbaum; his great grandchild Talan Henderson; and his sisters, Ann Johnson (Fred), Jane Davis and Anderson. He is also survived by his children and the best "Pa" his grandchildren.
