He was predeceased by: his parents, McKinley Andrews and Lillie Andrews; his wife Ann Smith Andrews; his son Joseph Timothy Andrews; his great grandchildren, Parker Ella Andrews and Hayden Ann Andrews; and his siblings, Harvey, Alfred, Harper, Bruce Andrews, Lucy Mae Jarman, Fannie Mitchell and Betty Andrews.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Pittman Hookerton, Patsy Burrus of Snow Hill and Mark Andrews (Wendy) of Grifton; his grandchildren, Trey Pittman (Dana) of Raleigh, Brandon Andrews of Greenville, Steven Andrews (Jessica) of Grifton and Jordan Elizabeth Andrews of Grifton; his great grandchildren, Makenzie Pittman of Hookerton, Devin Brink of Virginia Beach, VA, Taylor and Ashley White of Raleigh; and his siblings, Grace Griffin of Trenton, Clyde Andrews (Betty Lou) of Emerald Isle and Leslie Andrews (Jean) of Roxboro. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
