She was predeceased by: her husband James Rolin Lee; her son Ray Lee; her parents, Marvin Barfield and Melba Barfield; and her brothers, Kenneth Barfield and Larry Barfield.
She is survived by: her sons, Lamon Kennedy (Tammy) of Richlands, Dwight Lee Kennedy (Christy) of Kinston, Bobby Lee (Cindy) of Monks Creek, SC and Jamie Rolin Lee (Donna) of Snow Hill; her grandchildren, Stephanie, Matthew, John, Michael, Mason, Zackary, Connor, Jonathan, Elijah and Daniel; and her sisters, Bonnie Lou McLawhorn, Ruby Kaye Phillips and Lynette Ipock. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
