He is survived by: his wife Burma Howell; his sons, Lyn Howell of Raleigh and Lee Howell (Krystal Gray) of Kinston; his granddaughters, Bailey Owens (Kyle) and Olivia Howell; and his brother James Barwick. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law.
