He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Dail Dawson of Kinston and Forries Lincoln Dawson; his siblings, Angela Davenport and Dwight Dawson; and his brother-in-law Clyde Dunham III.
He is survived by: his siblings, Stephen Daniels (Mira), Ronnie Dawson (Annabelle), David Dawson, Janie Snowden (Greg), Jeanie Dunham and Terri Ekin (Jim); his brother-in-law Dannie Davenport; and his brother Jay Eubanks. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews, 19 great nieces and nephews and 2 great great nieces.
