It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Tilghman (Kinston, North Carolina), who passed away on April 26, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Will Rogers "Dan" Tilghman; and her parents, James Adolph and Beulah Pate Long. She is survived by: her children, Will Rogers "Danny" Tilghman, Jr., Cindy Tilghman Heath (Kenneth) of Kinston and Windy Tilghman Huggins of Kinston; her grandchildren, David Ray "Trey" Alphin III (Crystal Hill Alphin) and Hannah Alphin Taylor; her great grandchildren, Madison Dawn Alphin, David Ray Alphin, IV and Owen Eric Taylor; her sister Helen Long Forehand; and her pet Willie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
