He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Krampitz; his brother Walter; and his stepdaughter Cindy. He is survived by: his sister Linda Avery of Kinston; his stepdaughters, Crystal and Diane; and his sister-in-law Karen Krampitz of Winston Salem. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
