It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Stocks of Kinston, North Carolina, born in Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on October 8, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Dawson and Julia Parrish Dawson; her siblings, Sallie Mae Thompson and Samuel "Peter" Dawson; and her husband Guy Stocks, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Patsy Stocks McCann (Patrick) of Kinston, Donna Stocks Hardee of Greenville and Guy Stocks, Jr. (Ellen) of Winterville; and her great grandchildren, Connor Stephen Bishop, Caroline Zehnder Bishop, Charles Robert Bishop, Miles Hardee Lewis, Hayes Dawson Lewis, Evan Cameron Lewis, Jackson Britt Hardee, Naomi Corrine Smith, Norah Elise Smith, Austin Blake Johnson, Graysen Bryan Johnson and Johnathan McKenzie Rawls.
