He was predeceased by: his parents, John Moore and Clara Sauls Moore; his significant other Mary Frances Thomas of Snow Hill; and his siblings, Ray, Gene and Ola Carter.
He is survived by: his friend Jack Poole; his children, Johnny (Marsha Moore), Gail Tindal, Marica (Edward Sykes) and Tony (Judy Moore); his grandchildren, Nina O'Neal (Matt), Hope Dail (Ethan), Johnna Davis (Paul), Lindsey Bard (Mike), Justin Croom (Jennifer), Josh Croom (Melissa), Jony Hart, Tony Moore, II (Julia) and Tyler Moore (Brittany); and his sister Mildred Harrison. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
