She was predeceased by: her parents, Ada Sumrell and Robert Ashley Bradshaw; her son Steven Hill; her husband Edward G. "Buddy" Hill, Jr.; her former husband Bobby Ray Beaman; and her siblings, Robert Bradshaw, Cecil Bradshaw, Herbert Bradshaw, Jim Bradshaw, Doris Bradshaw Henderson and Martha Bradshaw Haab.
She is survived by: her son Mark Hill (Stephanie Hill) of Kinston, NC; her grandson Steven Hill (Catherine); her sisters, Hazel Marie Sult and Eleanor "Lady" Baker; and her sisters-in-law, Lew Bradshaw and Leatrice Bradshaw. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 2600 Rouse Road, Kinston, North Carolina 28504; Arendell Parrott Academy, 1901 Dobbs Farm Road, Kinston, North Carolina 28504; or to the charity of choice.
