He is survived by: his father Merril Lehman Schaffer, Sr. of Tavares, FL; his wife Susan Schaffer; his stepsons, Mickey Winfree of Oak Island, NC and Shannon Winfree of Tucson, AZ; his daughter Brenda Schaffer Hager of Corinth, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Hanna Beckman and Korbe Winfree of Summerville, SC; his great grandchildren, Audrey and Ruth Beckman of Summerville, SC; and his brothers, Jeff Schaffer of Cincinnati, OH and Ted Schaffer of Cincinnati, OH..
