She was predeceased by: her parents, James T. "Gus" Harper and Anita Smith Harper. She is survived by: her son Daniel Allen Parker of Greenville, NC; her sister Jane Vernon (Rick) of Kinston; and her cousin Sue Harper Herold. She is also survived by cousins; several nieces and nephews, and many close friends.
