She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Lee and Phronnie Lee; her husband Joseph B. Rouse; her son-in-law Clifton Croom; and her brothers, Albert Lee and Charles Lee.
She is survived by: her daughters, Margaret Rouse Seymour, Sue Rouse Croom, Linda Rouse Foster, Betty Rouse Moore (Ernie) and Annette Rouse Saunders (David); and her sisters, Ruby Lee Jarman (Cecil) and Eleanor "Cricket" Byrd. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
