She was predeceased by: her husband Hobert Whaley; her parents, Frank Wilkins and Vivian Hare Wilkins; and her son Terry Ray Whaley. She is survived by: her children, Teresa Holland of LaGrange and Sidney Whaley (Lena) of Kinston; her grandchildren, Megan Smith (McKeever), Will Holland, Brandi Grist (Martin) and Kelly Brinn (Aaron); and her sisters, Viola Beaman and Mary Ward. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
