He is survived by: his wife Gladys Burkett Sasser; his sons, Greg Sasser (Brenda) and Bradley Sasser (Dianna); his grandchildren, Riley Sasser and Kinsey Sasser; his siblings, Margaret Sanderson (Hobert), Kathy Cauley (Bryan), James Sasser (Janice) and Billy Sasser; and his sister-in-law Georgie Sasser. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
