He is survived by: his siblings, Joseph Parker, Alton Parker, Bobby Parker, Kathleen Parker King, Doris Parker Jeanes, Marcia Parker Heath and Carole Parker Spence; his former wives, Charlene Parker and Rosalie Wright Parker; his daughter Sherry Parker Whitehead; his grandchildren, Brian Davis and Sandra Parker Brunson; his great grandchildren, Ayden Brunson and Orayah Brunson; his wife Kathryn Jenkins Parker; his children, Richard "Dicky" Parker (Wanda) of Snow Hill, Carol Helton (Don), Daniel Parker of Raleigh, Shanie Parker Bellamy (William) of Comfort, James "Jimmy" Parker (Dawn) of Kinston and Robin Sugg (Brad) of LaGrange; his stepchildren, Sue Moody (David) of Kinston, Timothy Howard (Elena) and Gary Howard of Kinston; and his sister Arlene Parker Phillips (Sam). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
