With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert H. Shackelford (Kinston, North Carolina), who passed away on December 11, 2019 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Leon Shackelford and Muzette Daniel Shackelford; his wife Evelyn Holden Shackelford; and his siblings, Mary Alice Shackelford Smith (Norman) and Arthur Daniel Shackelford.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Shackelford Baldwin (Mount Olive), Jane Holden Shackelford (Mount Olive) and Gail Shackelford Narron (Johnny); his grandchildren, Nicole Baldwin Beale (Seth), Whit Baldwin (Jenny), Holden Royall, Julia Royall (Cam Johnson), Jane Royall Yarbrough (Andrew) and Dr. John Narron, III (Meredith); his great grandchildren, Evelyn Beale (Evie), Betty Baldwin and Surrey Yarbrough; and his sister-in-law Rachel H. Shackelford.
