It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Selma Butler (Kinston, North Carolina), born in Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on June 27, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband Garland A. Hill of La Grange; her children, Garland A. Hill, Jr. (Buster) and Donna Hill Dail Hardy; and her husband L. A. Butler of Grifton, NC.. She is survived by: her son Ronald D. Hill of Norfolk. She is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that remembrances be made to Wheat Swamp Christian Church and/or The Christian Church of Grifton.
