He is survived by: his wife Harriet Harper; his children, Elaine Harper of Kinston and Theodore Harper of East Orange, NJ; and his siblings, Mable Sims of Memphis, TN, Lena Stanley, Gwendolyn Taft of Greenville and Frederick Taft of Greenville. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; other relatives and friends.
