He is survived by: his wife Judy Elizabeth Fornes Grissom; his sons, Steven Grissom (Kim) of Kinston and Joey Grissom (Anita) of Concord, NC; his grandchildren, Matthew Grissom (Cai, Kinsey Grissom), Lindsey Davis (Josh, Kacey Kendall), Emily Gerard (Alex, Hannah Grissom) and Jacob Grissom; and his sister Carolyn Haddock.
