He is survived by: his wife Linda G. Jones; his children, Tyson I. Jones of Kinston, NC, Marcia J. Hightower and Stephanie Koons of Akron, Ohio; his siblings, Donna Jones Warren and C. Van Jones Jr.; his uncle Jerry; his aunt Betty Cox of Greenville; and his close friends, Elizabeth Paramore-Harrington and Barbara Bland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
