She was predeceased by: her husband Elmer M. Scott, Sr.; and her brothers, Robert William Seibel and Herman Seibel. She is survived by: her parents, Herman Seibel and Carrie Marie Kefauver Seibel; her son Elmer M. Scott Jr. (Betty) of Knightdale; her grandchildren, Phillip Locklear (Erica), Travis Locklear and Ashley Locklear (Adam); her great grandchildren, Phillip Locklear, Mikey Locklear, Michael Locklear, Harley Locklear and Aiden Rozier; her adoptive daughter Frances Deese (Pernell Deese, Jr.) of Knightdale; her grandson James Deese; her great grandchildren, Cameron Elliott and Jayla Deese; her sister Margaret Sculus; her sister-in-law Pat Seibel of Norfolk, VA; her cousin Linda Crawford; and her close friend Brenda Becerra of Wake Forest.
