She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Myron Whitehead and Helen Harrison Whitehead; her son David Buxton; her great grandchild Pooh; her brother Terry Whitehead; and her son-in-law David Everette.
She is survived by: her children, Belinda Everette of Louisburg, Connie Crawford (Lee) of Raleigh, Tommy Buxton (Trisha) of Cary and Ronnie Buxton (Angela) of Fuquay Varina; her grandchildren, Mike, Melissa, Robert, Beverly, Brandon, Katie and Timmy; her great grandchildren, Ailie, Ryan, Issac, Andrew, Ana, Zoe, Finley, Harley, Graysin, Jayden, Matthew, Gavin, Colton, Luke and Abilene; her great great grandchild Prince; and her siblings, Sharon Livingston and Jerry Whitehead.
