He was predeceased by: his parents, Dolphus Gordon Raper and Sarah Johnson Raper. He is survived by: his wife Patsy P. Raper; his children, Kathryn Massey (Marshall) and Joel Raper (Kerry); his grandchildren, Patrick, Meghan, James, Samuel and Emily; his great grandchildren, Layla Jade Mack and Bryce Carroll; and his nephews, Col. James Swartz (Jordan), Carl Swartz (Jill), Larry Johnson (Amy) and Charles Johnson. He is also survived by other friends and extended family.
