He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Allen Johnson and Gertrude Sorrell Johnson; his grandson Colton Lee Ayscue; and his siblings, Alton, Vilas Johnson, Ruby Hilliard, Martha Beasley, Ida Clark, Mae Smith, William, Walter, Richard Johnson and Margaret Layne.
He is survived by: his wife Billie Willoughby Johnson; his children, Douglas Lynn Johnson, Theresa Johnson Ayscue (Steve) and Clarence L. Johnson, Jr. (Joyce); his grandchildren, Tiffany Johnson House (TJ), Kyler David Ayscue (Nichelle), Tabitha Ayscue Hinson (Travis) and Lindsay Johnson Blacknall (Deandre); his great grandchildren, Nikayla Ayscue, Jayden, Maliyah Blacknall, Beau, Lacey, Sophia Hinson, Tanner and Tara House; and his sister Elizabeth Fallin.
