She was predeceased by: her son-in-law John Holley; and her sisters, Catherine Ann Knott and Ethel Janis Knott Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Robert Laverne Talley, Sr.; her children, Robert Laverne Talley, Jr. (Jennifer) of Wake Forest, Charles William Talley II of Knightdale, John Michael Talley (Jill) of Rolesville, Richard Thomas Talley (DeAnne) of Knightdale and Dorothy Talley Holley of Raleigh; and her siblings, J. T. Knott, Jr. of Knightdale and Dorothy Knott Preston of Raleigh. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
