He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Alton Eason and Cleo Grice Eason; his wife Ethel Delorise Mills Eason; and his siblings, Glenda E. Murphy and Percell Eason.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Wendy Lee Estes, Lynne Robin Estes, Michael John Estes, Jr. (Michelle) and Nicholas Paul Estes; his sister Sandra Boykin; and his sister-in-law Hettie Eason. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
