He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Burdell Alford and Mattie Perry Alford; his son-in-law Thurston Lloyd; and his siblings, Jessie Alford, Ada Woodlief, Mavis Johnson, Christine Alford and Ruth Hicks.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine Perry Alford; his children, Pamela Alford Lloyd and Jeffrey H. Alford (Beverly); his grandchildren, Ashlynn A. Moore (Brock), Alex Alford (Amber), Alex Kennedy, Abby Kennedy, Lawton Kennedy, Lisa Lee and Jennifer Reed; his great grandchildren, Jessica, Makenzie, Olivia, Rylee, Easton and Kolbie; and his sister Sylvia Bolton.
