She was predeceased by: her siblings, Anthony Lumpkin, Robert Frizzell, Robin Highsmith and Jean Flynn. She is survived by: her spouse Maxie Ray Lowery; her daughters, Allisha Lowery Cassidy (Jerry) of Wendell and Shaquanna Lowery (Lamonte) of Wellington, FL; her grandchildren, Jade Cassidy, Jordyn Cassidy, Niajah Forbes, Sean, Destiny, Elijah and Sá Niah Lowery-Fyne; her siblings, Diane Thomas of Wethersfield, CT, Ruth Talton of New Haven, CT, Cynthia Frizzell of Brooklyn, NY and Earl Frizzell; her sisters-in-law, Margaret Cuthbertson (Willie) of Charlotte and Gemma Lumpkin of New Haven, CT; and also Lester Smith.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made online to the American Heart Association Go Red for Women fund.
