She was predeceased by: her parents, James Carl Owens and Lennice Hall Owens; her husband William Ira Blalock, Jr.; and her stepson Robert Wood. She is survived by: her children, Michael Owens Blalock (Denise), Kathy B. Dunn, Janet Blalock and Carol B. Mangum (Ed); her grandchildren, Samantha Mangum, Alex Mangum, Nina Marie Dunn Parrish, Phillip Dunn and Mark Dunn; and her great grandchildren, Sylar Draughon, Brody Parrish, Brantley Parrish and Aubrey Dunn.
