He is survived by: his parents, James Robert "Bob" Bettinghaus, Jr. and Lori Jean Lindenlaub Jones; his stepfather Eddie; his brother C. J. Bettinghaus; and his grandparents, Carl and Jean Lindenlaub. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles and cousins.
