He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Woodrow Henley, Sr. and Pauline Hunt Henley; and his sister Carolyn Henley. He is survived by: his wife Sue Henley; his children, Lisa, Roger Skinner, Laurie and Scott Patton; his sister Barbara Griffin; his grandchildren, Justin, Kristy, Melissa, George, Kyle, Gaige, Evan, Blayde and Tyler; his great grandchildren, Abby, Evie, Hattie, Bella and Lainey; his siblings' children, Chet, Sharon, Randy, Ashley and Natt; and his brother Pat.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Divine Crossings Baptist Church (440 Little Devine Rd, Selma, NC 27576). A reception was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Montlawn Memorial Park (2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603).
