She was predeceased by: her parents, John Leonard Wimp and Prudie Elliott Wimp; her husband Jess Booker Curtis; her son Mark Lynn Curtis; and her brothers, John Leonard Wimp and Linville Randolph Crisp.
She is survived by: her children, David Curtis (Beth), Julie Simmons (Mark) and Darryl Curtis (Lisa); her grandchildren, Jacqueline Curtis, Ryan Curtis, Joshua Curtis, Crystal Ihrig (Jeff), Heather Scott (Rob), James Simmons (Megan), Leah Drake (Will) and Brittney Curtis; and her great grandchildren, Olivia Simmons, Evangeline Simmons, Catrina Painter, Steven Painter, Amiyah Scott and River Drake.
